Without a doubt the most biased & censored genre-specific web forum ive ever come across.
What's really annoying is that a lot of good guys left the forum and plenty of strangers with weird questions about their Thai wife and her family who made something that needs the attention of TVF readers. The good guys left, but the *** Mods stayed?
Why not the way around? If I'd have the chance to meet Metsidead in person, I'd rape his dog.

The Site That Keeps on Taking
Its been a quite a while since my last visit and thaivisa appears to have lost a lot of regular posters with some topics dead for days. I see the worm Jingthing continues to bait then have undesirable answers removed by his bed buddy and the super troll post inventor rimm boy is still pasting his off topic troll message.
I guess the die hard grumps like sixpack are in there somewhere bullying and trying to convince the world that Pattaya is a first class resort busting at the seams with visitors.

A lot of people purchased the worst car ever made and Thaivisa has a fan base. After meeting quite a few expats in Thailand its not hard to see why some would have no life without the Thaivisa forums.
But with so many fake posts and garbage replies its difficult to see how anyone could use it to gain an accurate picture of Thailand. Thaivisa is nothing more than a bunch of chemical erections fighting each others comments.
There are still a few good sub-forums with a specific purpose. Most of the nonsense takes place in News threads and General.Visa info is good, Ubonjoe and his budding sidekick, make an attempt to understand the issue and answer succinctly before the idiots arrive, as they do.
Sheryl seems to have a reasonable command of healthcare/hospital issues in Thailand.
There are, or were, some helpful people posting in the banking threads. Housing/real estate section tended by Crossy can also be very useful for information, leads and ideas.
